 CALL FOR PAPERS AND CONTRIBUTIONS

A group of world's famous wireless experts, scientists, technologists, executives, investors and analysts (most from Los Altos Hill and Saratoga, Calif.) announced in Palo Alto/ Stanford, California,  a forthcoming annual worldwide summit on emerging wireless and mobile communication technologies and business focusing on 4G mobile, Smartphone, WiMax and IMT-Advanced solutions within the frameworks of World Wireless Congress (R) to be hosted on May 14 thru 16, 2008 in Stanford/Palo Alto, the heart of San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley of United States, with several workshops, tutorials as well as business panel sessions on this significant next generation wireless and mobile communication movement.

The WWC'2008 congress theme is "Wireless and Mobile Innovation for Next Decade". This theme explores the synergism between the various dimensions of wireless communications: The continued convergence of broadband wireless systems and mobile cellular networks has pushed the wireless infrastructure and architecture from the proprietary solution to a more open platform to meet the rapidly increasing demand of open service and mobility infrastructure. This transition has created tremendous opportunities for higher-performance wireless circuits, systems and networks, creating cost-effective solutions for ubiquitous wireless communications, computation, sensing, signal processing, consumer electronics and multimedia. However, the advent of the open-era has blurred the traditional boundaries between the multi-dimensions of wireless innovation: spectrum, technology, performance, devices, circuits and system architecture. In fact, innovation in wireless communications requires an intricate balance between advances in frequency, process, circuit, architecture and system technology covering primarily on radio frequency (RF), base-band, networks and applications.

The objective of this conference is to gather the research and development papers in this field and present an overview of the-state-of-the-art of this B3G/4G storm - globally or locally, as well as perspectives on future development in order to promote future research activities as well as business strategies.

Original contributions are invited on recent research and development of B3G and 4G systems and networks such as WiMax, CDMA/TDMA/OFDM, wmATM, Software Definable Radio, Wireless Mobile Internet, Antennas and MIMO, Wireless Application Protocols, Wireless Security, Wireless Multimedia, Wireless Video, Wireless Access, All-IP Wireless Architecture, Converged 3G/WLAN/WPAN, WiMax/Wi-Fi, Open Wireless Architecture, etc. The topics of interest within the scope of this conference include (but are not limited to) the following:
